LiftUp of Routt County is governed by a volunteer Board of Directors that represent several community entities, including faith-based organizations. The Board of Directors is responsible for the programmatic and fiscal policies of LiftUp, assesses LiftUp’s programs and services annually and currently meets every other month.
The Board of Directors uses policy governance to envision the future and to ensure programs and services are aligned with our mission statement and meet the evolving needs of the communities we serve. The Board of Directors hires and supervises an Executive Director to carry out and manage the daily aspects of the organization.

I've lived in Steamboat since 2011. I retired in 2019 and needed a new sense of purpose. I started volunteering at the LiftUp Steamboat Food Bank in April 2020. Services at the Food Bank were severely hampered by the pandemic, but we managed to get food to our community. Over the past four years, the services of the Food Bank have expanded but there are many challenges facing all LiftUp services. I realized that I could offer suggestions and solutions to the ever-growing need to Routt County residents by being a member of the LiftUp Board. I'm happy to serve in this capacity.
