We strive to serve healthy, quality food to our neighbors and individual donations, food drives, and business partnerships help us meet the needs of Routt County. If you would like to donate, our Food Banks accept most food and beverage donations, as long as products have not expired and packages remain unopened. If you’d like to hold a food drive for LiftUp, please contact us at 970-870-8804.
Food Bank items we always need are:
- Progresso/Chunky soup
- Canned stew/chili
- Sugar
- Flour
- Coffee
- Pasta sauce
- Condiments (ketchup, mustard, mayo)
- Gluten-free items
- Personal care items (toothpaste, shampoo, feminine products, etc.)
We also serve more than 600 snacks daily to kids in Routt County through our Rocket Pack Program. To make sure kids get the best snacks possible, there are certain guidelines:
- Must contain 8g sugar or less
- Must donate at least 50 of the same item
- Must be individually packaged and not expired or past best by date
Rocket Pack Snacks we prefer include:

Food items can be dropped off at the Food Bank, 2125 Curve Ct., Steamboat Springs, Monday-Friday from 9:00-5:00.

Our Garden – LiftUp believes everyone deserves fresh, healthy food. In addition to your garden donations, LiftUp volunteers grow produce and herbs for the Food Bank in our 18 raised garden beds! In 2024, youth from Yampa Valley Autism’s Community Cultivation Program grew the produce in our raised beds.
