Maximize Your Giving
It’s as EZ as 1, 2, 3!
- Your State Income Tax Goes DOWN
- Your Donation to LiftUp Goes UP
- Everyone Benefits
LiftUp of Routt County (“LiftUp”) was approved by the State of Colorado’s Office of Economic Development and International Trade (OEDIT) as an Enterprise Zone Contribution Project (effective August 21, 2025) which encourages community participation and public-private partnerships.
Colorado taxpayers who make qualifying Enterprise Zone gifts to LiftUp are eligible for a generous tax credit of up to 25% to use against their state income tax if giving cash, or 12.5% for gifts of appreciated assets, such as stocks. Donations received from a Donor Advised Fund are not eligible for EZ Tax Credit.
The Colorado Enterprise Zone tax credit reduces the amount of state income tax you pay, in addition to federal and state charitable deductions you may receive for gifts to the LiftUp. You can nearly double the size of your gift – and the impact of your generosity – without increasing the net cost to you.
